New date has been set for successful vampiresque film sequel Twilight: New Moon. According to Variety the new release date is Nov.20th. Summit caught a lucky break when Warners decided to push back the release of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" from Thanksgiving 2008 to summer 2009. There are four books in Stephenie Meyer's bestselling "Twilight" franchise.

Pretty soon we’ll have a new pic from ‘New Moon’ to show, and we can stop running that super-glossy group photo above. It was announced this week that the follow-up to ‘Twilight’ will officially be getting released on November 20, 2009. For those of you keeping track, that’s 364 days after ‘Twilight’ got its wide release, not even a full year between films.
‘Twilight’ has pulled in $150 million domestic so far and another $35 million overseas. There are four books total in the ‘Twilight’ series.
