LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke is in talks to direct "New Moon," the just-greenlit sequel of the vampire box office hit, a source close to the negotiations told Access Hollywood . The vampire drama bit into a $70.5 million opening last weekend, the biggest ever debut for a female director.
